PARAMORE - April 9th 2013
This is the album we were always meant to make. It just was never the right time until now.
And just by way of further illustrating the points I made in this photo post and expanded upon in this ask, here’s a scene from Taunton State Hospital, a few weeks before they started to demolish the 1850s asylum. Most of the building - I’d say a solid 95% of it - was perfectly safe. And then there were the parts that weren’t. Some of them - such as this collapsing dayroom, where patients once congregated and played cards - were obviously dangerous. But then there were the times that you’d walk down a corridor that seemed perfectly solid and all of a sudden, boom! You’d put your foot through the floor and have to kick back quickly with your other leg to avoid falling through. The point being - abandoned buildings are generally dangerous places, folks! Or in other words, unless you have some experience and are a risk-taker - don’t try this at home!
